Front and side view of Burns Hotel. Four-story brick building has restaurant on street level and "Burns Hotel" sign on roof. Pedestrians walk on sidewalk. Printed on front: "Burns Hotel, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "The Burns Hotel. Corner of Cadillac Square and Bates Street, is one of the new hostleries [sic] of the city. It is owned by Messrs. Burns and Singelyn and has accommodations for 250 guests." Handwritten on back: "Dear Viola, I received your card and was glad to here [sic] from you. The street you are to get off at is Glendale and about what time will you be there. Papa or Robert will meet you. Your friend, Isabell Pearson." Card is postmarked November 26, 1910.
