Description
Cadillac Square viewed from a height toward city hall, past Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument. Flower bed at base of monument reads "G.A.R." In the center of the postcard, a clip can be moved to reveal a folded booklet that opens up to reveal images of Monroe Street, the "Tashmoo" steamer, Belle Isle Park, Waterworks Park, Campus Martius, Woodward Ave., and the Detroit Musuem of Art among others on the pages of the booklet. Printed on the front: "Detroit, Mich. Cadillac Square. Patented Dec. 5th, 1905." Printed on back: "Rotograph Co., N.Y., City. (Germany)."
