Printed on front: "Elks Temple, Detroit, Mich." Printed on front: "The Elks' Temple. Monroe Avenue, is one of the many handsome buildings to be found in this busy thoroughfare. It is nine stories in height, the seven lower floors being used for business and office purposes, while the remaining two floors are given over entirely to lodge rooms, which are commodious and very artistically decorated." Handwritten on back: "Dear Mother and all, I arrived safe and had a good seat but ... had to change cars. Hope you are all well. My chair got here last night right after I got home it is allright. I am on my way up to Augusta's. Love to all, hope you are well." Card is postmarked July 20, 1910.
