Fourteen-story Beaux Arts office and retail building, viewed at an angle across intersection. American flag on pole on roof. Partial sign for Home Savings Bank. Street-cars horse-drawn carriages, and early automobile on street; many pedestrians. Printed on the front: "Majestic building, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "The Majestic building, corner of Woodward and Michigan Avenues, was one of the first tall office buildings to be erected in the city and is fourteen stories in height. From its roof one may obtain a magnificent bird's-eye view of the surrounding city." Handwritten on back: "Dear friend, Got back here o.k. but was sorry to leave Toledo as we both had a very nice time. Was very sorry we had to make that car Sun. eve. as I know I would have had a nice time at your friend's house. Suppose you have sent Jessie home by this time. As ever, Ed. V.M." Card is postmarked July 27, 1912.
