Shows an electric engine used to haul trains through the Detroit tunnel. Several men are standing aboard the engine (most dressed in suits). Printed on front: "Electric engine used for hauling trains through tunnel under Detroit River, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "Electric engine, Detroit, Mich. The Detroit River tunnel was built for the M.C.R.R. at a cost of $8,500,000. It is 1 3/8 miles in length. Electricity, the third rail system furnishes the motive power for the engines. C.T. Co., Chicago, A-17410." Card is postmarked August 13, 1915.
