View of Hotel Ste. Claire; multistory brick and stone building with window awnings, balconies and American flags. "Hotel Ste. Claire" sign on side of hotel. Printed on front: "Hotel Ste. Claire, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "The Hotel Ste. Claire, Monroe and Randolph Streets, dates back to 1892, when it was built by the Brush estate. It is a modern hostelry in every way, and contains 102 rooms for guests." Handwritten on back: "Dear Sister, I did not get my rocking chair the man said that it was not shipped from Fair Haven. Try and find out what is the matter. I thought that I would get it this morning but did not everything else is allright. Hope you are all well. Love to all, Mary." Card is postmarked July 14, 1910.
