The lower portion is occupied by business houses but the upper portion has many fine churches and residences. The building at right is the new Y.M.C.A. building, one of the most complete of its kind in the world and costing $700,000." Handwritten on back: "March 10 - 18. Dear mother, a line that I am fine and hope you are the same. I went to work a weak [sic] ago last Friday for the [illegible]. Got a good job as long as it lasts. It is cold here this morning. Hope you are all well. From Charley." Card is postmarked March 12, 1918.
