Printed on back: "The Detroit City Hall in which are located the administrative offices of the city, was constructed in 1868. It is a handsome and substantial stone structure, situated on Woodward Avenue between Fort Street and Lafayette Avenue, occupying an entire block. The city spent $150,000 remodelling the interior in 1906. 108, published by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. and Frankfort, Germany. Made in Germany." Handwritten on back: "9/24 '08, 6.00 p.m. I just got back from town getting the baseball scores. Back of this building is where we get them. Not so hot today, but still pretty warm. Going to the show tomorrow night at the Temple with Gibson. Everything O.K. With love to all, E.A.S." Card is postmarked September 24, 1908.
