View of First Presbyterian Church; Romanesque revival stone church building has triple arched entrance porch and rose window. Printed on front: "First Presbyterian Church, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "First Presbyterian Church. One of the finest as well as one of the most expensive church structures in Detroit, is the First Presbyterian located on Woodward Ave. The building is of brown stone and the entrance is a beautiful mosaic. The church is the oldest and largest of its denomination in Michigan. No. 236, pub. by A.C. Dietsche, Detroit, Mich. Printed in Germany." Handwritten on back: "12/7/1908. Dear Parents, I guess you think it strange until you know I am so busy I hardly get time to eat. I am well & hope you both are. I will write you a letter soon, love & kisses, Daughter." Card is postmarked December 9, 1908.
