Side view of Detroit City Hall; American flag displayed from clock tower. Pontchartrain Hotel in background. Printed on front: "City Hall, Detroit, Mich." Printed on back: "City Hall, Detroit, Mich. City Hall cost $600,000. The clock is one of the largest in the United States and there is but one larger in the world. The dials are 8 1/2 feet in diameter. C.T. Co., Chicago, A-17414." Handwritten on back: "Dear Lizzie, How are you. I am pretty well. John is feeling pretty good. He don't have any more pain in his side he is getting along allright. If I don't come home tomorrow I will be home some time Saturday. Mother." Card is postmarked April 2, 1915.
