Bats: right. Throws: right. Divided 1949 between Cards and their farm team at Rochester. Had a 1-3 record with the Redbirdsin 17 games. Won 8, and lost 3, at Rochester. First experience in pro ball, was with Columbus, American Association, 1942. Spent next 3 years in the service. Returned to Columbus for 1946 season. Went to Cardinals in 1947. Won 12 and lost 7.
