View of sleeping man in bed; ringing alarm clock on nightstand. Crossed baseball bats and baseball in center. Printed on front: "Baseball. The score is tie. There's two men out, there is no hope t'would seem. The next man hits clean o'er the fence; wake up! 'Tis but a dream. Copyright 1908 by H.M. Rose." Artist signed drawing with WH in circle. Handwritten on front: "Sweet dreams." Handwritten on back: "Hello Fred! Your cards received. Did you get the one I sent? I heard about your stealing bases the other day. Would have liked to see it. Tonight is the finale of dancing school. Wish you were going to be here but I might just as well not wish. Saw Elma tonight. She asked how you were getting along. They are living in Stanford now. Katharine." Card is postmarked May 24, 1909.
