View of women workers visually inspecting steel cartridge cases at the Chrysler Evansville Ordnance plant. Label on back: "Detroit, Mich. As the steel cartridge cases in the Chrysler Corporation, Evansville Ordnance plant pass through operation after operation, they are inspected both mechanically and manually. In the above picture is shown one of the visual inspections. These inspectors become very proficient in picking out, both by sight and by feel, improperly made steel cartridge cases (VL-2223)."
