He first joined the Cardinals in 1923, and after a few years in the minors for experience, became a regular member of the team in 1925. He is an outfielder, 6 feet tall and weighs 185 pounds, batting and throwing right-handed. Last year hit .303 in 144 games. Lou Gehrig by arrangement with Christy Walsh.
