Green mount. Front view of City Hall with buggy in right foreground. Printed on stereocard back: "City Hall, Detroit, no. 3, erected A.D. 1868, J. Anderson, architect, dimensions: 250 feet long, 137 feet wide, height to top of cupola, 160 feet, cost of building, $600,000. Photographed and published J.A. Jenney, publisher of general Michigan views including scenes of Lake Superior, Mackinac, St. Clair River, lumber camp scenes and of the principal cities of the State. Special attention given to photographing residences, machinery, etc., Office Room No. 20 Merrill Hall, cor. Jefferson and Woodward Aves., Detroit, Mich."
