Label on back (covered): "New series, panoramic cabinet sketches in and about the city of Detroit, Jex Bardwell, 31 Monroe Avenue." Label pasted over Bardwell label: "Eisenlord House. The Eisenlord House, on the S.W. corner of Cass and Lewis Streets, was built by William Eisenlord in 1866. In 1886 E. C. Harvey became proprietor, and under his management has decidedly improved. Farmer p. 487."
