View of bronze tablet on flagpole dedicated to Arthur O'Shea, labor writer for the Detroit Free Press. Flagpole is located at O'Shea Playfield at Asbury Park and Fullerton. Inscription reads: "Arthur W. O'Shea Memorial Park. Dedicated by the people of Detroit to the memory of Arthur W. O'Shea. Indifferent to the powerful, gentle to the weak, he walked after God and wrote the truth. City of Detroit, Department of Parks and Recreation."
