View of lighthouse on small island on lake at Palmer Park; group of men and women lean over railing on shore. Printed on front: "The lighthouse, Palmer Park, Detroit, Mich., 207,539." Printed on back: "Published by S.H. Knox & Co., Detroit, Mich. Printed in Great Britain." Handwritten on back: "3/21/09, I received your letter and the papers this a.m. and was glad to hear from you. I went to church this morning, and this afternoon I went down to the Wayne Roller Rink. I did not skate I just watched them. I went to the Temple yesterday and it was fine. E.A.S." Card is postmarked March 21, 1909.
