View of steamer "Walk-in-the-Water", rowboats and clipper ships on Detroit River. Men and women stand on shore. Printed on front: "Detroit in 1820 and Detroit in 1910." Handwritten on back: "Today is a lovely sunny day & it is drying off a little underfoot. Had a good trip up the other night and have accomplished quite a bit on my work. Invited out to dinner Thurs. night & on Wed. too but the ... I had to refuse. Love, Marie." Card is postmarked February 27, 1917.
