Dear Cousin, Received your recent mission. I spent 13 days in Detroit, my vacation after a year of hard work. I do not think that the proportion was maintained in this case but it was not my fault. Perhaps I'll get to see Detroit again this summer. Do you not get a vacation? I see your brother Frank will receive the habit in August. I did not know that he was that far advanced already. Isn't it terribly hot? It's just awful. We had a very successful college year this year, according to the opinion of everybody here. We hope that the coming year will be even more successful. If my work is not lessened considerably however, I'll resign my position. I can't do college work and parish work the same time. Best regards, A.C. [undecipherable]." Card is postmarked July 1911.
