Handwritten on back: "Dear Children, I got back about 5:30 got my eyes fitted. He said I was the most complicated case he ever had. He thot [sic] Marjory didn't need any now but might later. I'll bet you nearly froze this morning, before you got to Shelby. I wasn't any too warm. Ma." Card is postmarked May 4, 1911.
