Date: 20 January 1912. Source: Estate of Charles E. & M. Jerry Duryea. I.D.: Henry Ford." Stamped on back: "Manning Bros. commercial photographers, 22-24 Witherell St., Detroit, Mich." Handwritten on back: "Henry Ford. Begun for a bicycle. Engine made from drawings in American Machinist of Pennington engine. Valves used were from King 1894 engine. Finished about 1896."
