Second Empire building viewed diagonally across intersection. Cranage Building contains businesses of A.B. Lyons, analytical chemist; A.B. Stevens, druggist; and C. Rischert, confectioner, on Lafayette; children sitting on step and several men in front on corner. Also have print from negative. Handwritten on back of albumen cabinet card: "Thos. Cranage Building, cor. Shelby & Lafayette. Mr. Cranage is the central figure. Between 1880 and 1890. 33 Lafayette Ave." Recorded in glass negative ledger: "D/Buildings-Cranage." Cabinet card marked with red liquid.
