Wiley and executed by Mary Chase Stratton and Horace Caulkins of Pewabic Pottery, is made of "gres flambe" which means that the tesserae are of enameled baked clay and not of glass. The scene entitled, "Seven Ages of Man", represents a scene from Shakespeare's, "As you like it," within each arch a panel depicts each age, infant, schoolboy, lover, soldier, justice, old man and second childhood.
