Inscribed on photo back: "6-cylinder, 38-horsepower, 115.5-inch wheelbase, 4-person imperial coupe, series first 38 (body type RY). Note, in support of "38" designation: appearance of shorter hood, fewer louvers than 48, arrangement of components beneath body, unusual placement of sidelights, although bails are at side."
