Handwritten on back: "Connstatter Mens and Ladies Chorus of Detroit, Mich., convention at Berline and Waterloo, Canada, about 1895. Some of members names: Hermann Becker, brewer, Tony Muer, cigar mfr, father of former Detroit mayor, Fred Flachman, jeweler, Mr. Ludwig, wagon maker, Captain Rhody of the old Scot guards, A. M. Phahler, Mr. Stortz, Mr. Fleisher, daughters of Betz the baker on Gratiot Av. near Orleans."
