Old Scotch Presbyterian Church, building used before move to Washington Avenue in 1871. Small light-paneled building on left side of photograph, with fenced yard. Residential/business buildings on sides of church and in background, including large glass tower of unidentified building. Printed on back: "New series, panoramic and cabinet sketches, city of Detroit, Jex Bardwell, 31 Monroe Avenue." Handwritten on back: "Part of present Book Bldg. 1921. Still standing 1914."
