Description:
View of a box or sitting area in the Fisher Theatre. Bench and decorative tables in foregound; curtains are pulled back to show darkened auditorium interior. The interior decoration of the Fisher Theatre was originally a Mayan Revival style, an adaptation of Mayan temples excavated in Central America. In 1961, the theater was completely remodeled. Embossed on front: "Kalec & Forster, Detroit."
