View of students costumed as lumberjacks in a parade for the University of Michigan Triennial County Fair in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Some men stand on a horse-drawn float of a log. Group of men in foreground carry axes; one man holds a megaphone. Clown on left; judges' stand and spectators in background. These fairs were held every three years by the Michigan Union, a male-only organization, although fifty different student organizations participated. Funds raised were intended to construct a clubhouse for the Union.
