View of mural depicting workers in an automobile factory (titled Automotive industry) by W.P.A. artist Marvin Beerbohm. The mural was originally displayed in the Technology Dept. building and later transferred to the Smithsonian Institution. Typed on back: "Detroit Public Library. Mural in Technology Department building, Putnam Ave. (Designed and executed by Marvin Beerbohm of Detroit, completed and installed July, 1940, W.P.A. artist." Stamped on back: "The following credit must be printed underneath each reproduction of this picture. Photograph from Arthur S. Siegel. 2748 Taylor, Detroit, Michigan. Tyler 6-2626."
