I had almost forgoten [sic] it but have been so busy haven't had time to think. I have had a dress maker here this week have my silk dress all done. Looks fine & yesterday Mae & the children & myself went to Leona's. They are well. we have got our trunks & got to comence [sic] packing next week. We was coming out to the fair but changed our mind. Minta sent one that patern [sic], so I have got to make my calico dress next week, our sale will be about the so will let you know later we will try and be out before long. Hope you injoyed [sic] your birthday with many happy more. Did John trade places. With love, Ma." Card is postmarked September 7, 1912.
