View of bronze and stone monument dedicated to Edwin Denby, located on the west side of the naval armory, facing Park. Inscription reads: "Edwin Denby, 1870-1929. Sailor and soldier, member of Congress, Secretary of the Navy in war and in peace. He devoted his life to his fellowmen and to the service of his country. This tribute to his noble character and unselfish devotion to duty is palced here by his many friends."
