Letter from Governor of Michigan William Hull and Chief Judge of Michigan Augustus B. Woodward to Congress. Letter reads: "We have the honor to report to the Senate and the house of Representatives of the United States of America, in obedience to the act entitled "An act to proide for the adjustment of titles of land in the town of Detroit, and territory of Michigan, and for other purposes", that we have laid out a town or city, of which a plan accompanies this report, and have made progress in that adjustment of the titled, and the distribution of the [undecipherable] contemplated by the said act, and expect shortly to completed the same. Signed at Detroit the twelfth day of December, one thousand eight hundred six. William Hull, Governor of Michigan. Augustus B. Woodward, Chief Judge of Michigan.
