View of Flanders electric car parked in front of general store in Mississippi during the pathfinding expedition for the 1912 Glidden Tour. Horse is tethered on side of building. Stamped on back: "Spooner & Wells, Inc., photographers, 1231 Woodward Ave., Detroit, Mich., telephone North 1745." The pathfinding tour covered a route from Detroit, Michigan to New Orleans, Louisiana, but the 1912 Glidden Tour was canceled. Handwritten on back: "Pathfinder in front of Pokes [?] store, Mississippi, general store, 1912."
