Instructions and playing field for baseball card game
Playing field for baseball card game, laid out as diamond with bases and pitcher's mound. Printed on front: "Baseball card game rules. This is a baseball game played with cards, using the rules of baseball. ... 2 opposing players, or as many as 9 players, on each side can play using this baseball diamond. The first player at bat shuffles the cards, he then turns over 1 card at a time, until he gets a hit or an out. If he gets a hit, he places the card on the indicated base. The play is carried on as in an actual baseball game, using the cards as players and moving them around the bases. When 3 outs are made, the playing side is retired. The opposing team comes to bat and the cards are reshuffled. Special rules can be made. For example, it is optional to advance all base runners one extra base on a single and a double. A record of the balls, strikes and outs may be kept by a member of the opposing team calling out each card as it is turned over. Play 'topsy-turvy' baseball. Use the same rules as above. However, the object is to get the least number of runs. The team with the lowest 9 inning score is the winner. You can paste this sheet on cardboard to keep it from tearing.
