Besides his able management, Cronin was one of the most consistent hitters on the team during the season and ranked with best as a shortshop. He is 27 years old, 5 ft. 11 in. tall and weighs 180 pounds; batting and throwing right-handed. Joined the Washington club in 1928 from Kansas City.
