Description
View of the engine and transmission for a 1932 Hudson car. Label on back: "Silencer - Remove elbow at carburetor; carry vertical pipe diameter through to carburetor. Air cleaner - add band below cleaner at point parallel with intake manifold upper mounting bolt. (See blueprint to Machan, 10/13/31. Water manifold at top rear of motor between spark plug and ignition cable housing support, add 15 deg. joint for water temperature bulb. See blueprint to Machan. Remove two holes above oil pan and beneath silencer elbow." Handwritten on back: "Oct. 12/31. Right side of Hudson power plant (motor & transmission). Oil line crescent shaped under carburetor at choke, increase diameter from present 5/16" to 1/2". Other oil lines OK."
