Handwritten on back: "Dear Friend John, I don't think its one bit nice that I couldn't see you to say goodbye & good luck. Roy came home Sat. and was disappointed not to have you here. But its good after all that you are not out of the state either. Write me all about everything and I will write a letter as soon as the cousins go home. We are busy every minute having a good time. Will be lonesome when they go home. June." Card is postmarked 1911.
