Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan
View of wooden-frame buildings on an unidentified street in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Handwritten on buildings: "X,X", "P.O." and "Waldo." Printed on front: "Street scene, Grand Blanc, Mich." Handwritten on back: "Tuesday, 8 a.m., July 7, '08. Dear sister Ellen & family. Will send this card this a.m. because we had a letter from Lill last night saying we should come over and get some cherries & currants so do not come this week Sat. or Sun as we will go over on Sun. I think. Let me know when you do come. I am washing but it isn't a very favorable morning. It has been raining here. Hud has been sowing turnip seed. Say Ellen when you come will you and Elma bring me some slips. Mine are doing fine that I have. Hope to see you all soon. With love, sister Lidia. Where I marked double X is the market where we hold forth." Card is postmarked July 7, 1908.
