Handwritten on back: "Letta Crapo-Smith's Studio. Photograph of art studio of Detroit artist Letta Crapo-Smith. It was located on the top floor of the H.H.H. Crapo-Smith home on the corner of Chene and Jefferson. 1862-1920."
